The 2015 holiday shopping season has been over for a few weeks now and we’re at the tail end of the surge in holiday returns. There’s been plenty of time to look back, reflect, and take note of some lessons learned. To no one’s surprise, overall eCommerce sales were up pretty big — 20% — from last year and mobile was a big part of that. One of the biggest surprises was the significant dip in Black Friday spending from the 2014 season. Cyber Monday is turning out to be a much bigger shopping day, so it’d be smart to focus more resources there next year. It’s time to start planning!
