With school out for the summer, retailers and consumers alike are gearing up for the Back-to-School shopping season – which has already started for some shoppers.

Back-to-School Shopping Began With Students Still in Class.

5% of buyers already started shopping by April, Another 7% planned to start before June. The real surge in back-to-school shopping starts in July. More than 50% of buyers begin back-to-school shopping between late July and early August. (Bizrate Insights)

BTS eCommerce Continues to Grow The eCommerce portion of back-to-school sales will continue its strong growth, jumping another 15.3% this year to $65.42 billion.
